Rules

Registration to participate in the experiments

  • Participation in the experiments does not require any knowledge of economics
  • Registration is open to all (students, employees, job seekers, etc.) without restrictions.
  • Only one registration per person, registering multiple times is considered attempted fraud and is punishable by permanent exclusion from the system.

Invitation / registration to participate in an experience

  • When an experience is scheduled, the experience management software sends invitations by email.
  • Only registered people are likely to receive an invitation.
  • Registered people do not receive an invitation for each experience; the software draws lots and sends invitations to the people it has selected.
  • Receiving an invitation email does not guarantee participation in the experience. The invitation email contains a link that takes you to a registration page for the experience. This registration phase is essential to participate in the experience.
  • To prevent possible no-shows, the experience management software accepts more registrations than the number of participants required for the experience. Any additional people on the day of the experience will be compensated for travel expenses.
  • After receiving the invitation email and registering for an experience, a confirmation email is sent. This email includes the name of the experience, the date, and the time of the experience.
  • A reminder email is sent a few days before the date of the experience.
  • Once you have registered for an experience, it is not possible to unsubscribe online through the experience management software. In this case, you must send an email to contact@labeds.fr specifying the name of the experience, its date, and its time.
  • En cas d'absence à une expérience un mail est envoyé. Au bout de 2 absences (sans avoir prévenu au préalable) le logiciel de gestion des expériences exclut des prochaines invitations.

Participation in an experiment

  1. Rules to follow before the start of the experience
    • Participants in the experiment are requested to arrive in front of the room at least 5 minutes before the start time of the experiment.

  2. At the start time of the experiment, an experiment organizer takes the roll call to note the people (registered) present and absent.

  3. Rules to follow when entering the experiment room
    • Turn off your cell phone so as not to interfere with the smooth running of the experiment.
    • Sit down in front of one of the switched-on computers.
    • Silently read the experiment instructions. They are located next to the computer keyboard. These instructions explain the nature of the decisions that will need to be made, and the nature of the interactions (if any) between the experiment participants. They also specify the rules for compensation for the experiment.

  4. Rules to follow during the experience
    • Do not communicate (without instructions to the contrary) with other participants in the experiment.

  5. Rules to follow at the end of the experience
    • Remuneration for experience is done individually.
    • Payments are made in cash, in accordance with the rules defined in the experiment instructions.
    • Each experience has its own compensation policy. No information about experience compensation is provided until the experience is run.
    • In addition to the payment for the experience, there is a transport fee: 2 euros if the participant is registered in one of the universities located in Richter, 6 euros otherwise.

  • Unsubscribing from the list of voluntary participants in experiments
    • You can unsubscribe at any time from your profile. To access your profile, you have a link at the bottom of each email sent by the system that directs you there.
    • Automatically after 2 absences without prior notice.
    • Automatically if one of the following two criteria applies
      1. You have not registered for an experience for more than two years
      2. You have already participated in more than 15 experiences
